World Of FCS

World of Family and Consumer Science is designed to give the student an overall exposure to the Family and Consumer Science curriculum. Students will be introduced to the multiple areas in the FCS department. These areas included: housing, furnishings and equipment, foods, nutrition, resource and money management, clothing, textiles, human development and relationships. As the student explores these areas they will also be exposed to the vast career options to them. This course is a prerequisite for Textile Design and LaCuisine. A passing grade is required in World of FCS to take advanced classed in the curriculum.
