Prerequisites:Students must provide their instrument. Due to class size limitations, priority will be given to older students and instructor consent must be secured prior to registration. Instructor approval is required.
Previous guitar experience is not necessary. Students will be able to learn rhythm and lead guitar of various styles as well as reading music and tab notation. Grades are based on class participation and performing assigned work. Accommodations for electric guitar and bass guitar will only be made for students involved with the Jazz Band. Either steel or nylon string guitars are acceptable.
