Advanced Biology

This course is for college-bound students, at or above grade level in reading comprehension, who want a greader academic challenge.  It will cover basic biochemistry, cell biology, DNA/genetics, evolutionary history of biological diversity, animal form and function, and basic ecology.  Students will learn at an accelerated pace, covering material at greater depth than in the regular high school biology class.  Students should anticipate completing reading and homework outside of class time.
