This course is designed to provide an introductory course in modern chemistry by way of science inquiry methods. Major topics in this class are (1) measurement, (2) the combined gas laws, (3) atoms (4) classification of matter, (5) molar quantities and calculations, (6) periodic trends, (7) chemical names, and (8) basic chemical reactions and writing of equations.
